Spinal muscular atrophy type I, a progressive neurological and muscular disease, causes severe physically handicapped and symptoms of respiratory failure. Therefore, it becomes impossible to communicate by utterance etc. So we developed a communication support application that utterance simple word. We also developed applications to acquire the necessary switch operation as a previous stage for using support equipment. Currently, we verify the effect of applications to promote understanding of the causal relationship between the switch and the equipment and applications to practice selection by auto scan.
