Knowledge of this paper runs as follows: 1) There are 7 family types in central area of Nagano city. Various types dwell there. 2) 50～60% people in central area estimate good residential environment but qualities of environment are different by each districts. 3) As for the change of residential environment for last decade, people estimate good effects of the concrete policies or projects (road infrastructure, kinds of facilities as examples) but point out the decline in the standard of prosperity, safety, quietness, and clean air etc. And so on.},
