In public construction works which affect the environment, methods for preservation and replacement of topsoil which protect the ecosystem and promote greenery are currently receiving attention, however evaluation methods have not yet been established. Although it is in the basic study stage, this report will describe the characteristics of natural ground and restored ground based on field investigations and chemical experiments implemented on underground water. The topsoil layer had been considered as disposable because it includes a significant amount of organic waste.
