The purpose of this study is to analyze parking behavior and effect of relocating parking lots to alleviate traffic congestion on main streets in the Central City Nagano． This is to control the location of the parking lot without impairing the excursion behavior of car users in city area． This study suggests applying Kaplan-Meier Analysis to estimate parking probability considering walking distance to destination and number of excursion trips. The purpose of this study is to collect a questionnaire survey conducted on parking lot users in urban areas, and to use it as a material for the development of a pedestrian priority road project by relocating parking lots in the central urban area of Nagano City． |
