 note = {application, We have been giving new students achievement tests soon after they enter this college. This is due to the introduction of mixed major classes belonging to each department of engineering. The reason for this is that we want to grasp their actual level of mathematical skills early on to enable us to take steps in dealing with individual differences. In the last seven years our college has been recording the results of the students' mathematical skills. This began when the college was divided into five different departments with five classes in each department. To make sure that our students are progressive and that they receive the highest quality of education, we record their progressive learning from when they enter the college up until their last year.},
