The test result that the unconfined compressive strength of undisturbed samples turned out to be larger than that of remoulded samples may be explained by the fact that the grain skeleton of the undisturbed samples offers greater resistance to compression than the destroyed grain skeleton of the prepared samples. Based on the experimental findings described in the present paper, we proposed the correction factors for the scale effects on the unconfined compressive strength and the secant modulus. The test results obtained by small size specimens are found to be reasonable and encouraging for the use of the small size specimens in engineering practice.}, pages = {47--57}, title = {極小供試体による一軸圧縮試験結果の経済的評価手法}, volume = {26}, year = {1992} }
