The result of those study is as follows. The main contents, A. Physical ability of each grade B. Comparison among dormitory, commuting and boarding students C. Comparison between smoking and non-smoking students We tried to discover the elasticity of physical strength in accordance with the concept of dynamics, after this examination for the result. The result of A showed that students' capacity is in proportion to each grade as to 100-meter run, but that first year students run faster than third and fifth year students in the 1500-meter run. And the relation between time and speed of third year and fifth year students is almost the same. Anyhow, we found the lower-grade students' staying power is superior to upper-grade students'. As for their vertical and standing broad jump, upper-grade students are superior to lower-grade students because the former has better physique than the latter. So we found the formers power at the moment and strength in their legs are superior to the latter. Their flexibility falls little by little in accordance with each other because of lack of exercise, we think. As for B, generally, the first year dormitory students have the best physical ability, and overall, students have the best physical ability with commuting students the second, and boarding students the third. As for the fifth year students, the results are almost the same for all categories. We define elasticity of physical strength as K_5 equal to vertical jump divided by weight and K_6 equal to weight divided by standing broad jump, and fix our aim at flexibility. As a result, there was not much difference between lower-grade students and upper-grade students. But the first year dormitory students have less flexibility in point of K_5 and K_6. The third year commuting students have high flexibility and the third year students the highest (flexibility). As for the fifth year students, they have larger K_5 and K_6 and higher flexibility. Accordingly, we found that the students' capacity for physical strength and flexibility has changed over five school years.}, pages = {137--145}, title = {長野高専生の運動能力と体力弾性について}, volume = {18}, year = {1988} }
