Microtremors were obse-rved simultaneously on the top and the toe of the slope of the levee. From the spectrum ratio of microtremors at the top and the toe of the slope, it was confirmed, at many observation spots, that the levee is in a state of plane strain. So, based on the spectrum ratio, the rigidity of the levee was tried to esti-mate by using the Frequency Response Function which was calculated by the Finite Element Method.
