From microtremors, three predominant frequencies and modes were obtained, as 1.5Hz, 2.3Hz and 3.7Hz, respectively. From vibration tests, the damping coefficient of 1st mode frequency of the Pagoda was obtained as about 0.03. Comparing the vibration characteristics of the pagoda before and after repairs, the natural period was slightly increased (7%).
