When porous concrete are mixed with bamboo chip, improvement of water-quality purification function is expected, but compressive strength is decreased. In this research, mortar ( which constitutes porous concrete ) are replaced by bamboo chips ( that size is about 1.2mm or 2.5mm×0.5mm×0.1mm ), evaluating that mortar and porous concrete to mechanical properties. At first step, in order to evaluate 15hit-flow value and compression strength of mortar which were replaced by bamboo chip, here changing to ratio of replacing, and changing to sizes of bamboo chip. Next, verifying compression strength of porous concrete mixing with bamboo chip.
